Lucy Goldsack grew up in North Wales where she attended dance and yoga classes from age 11. She started out with Contemporary and African dance, teaching the latter from age 16. Lucy came across Hip Hop and Street dance whilst studying at the University of Bristol and started teaching Street dance in 2000.
After gaining several years experience working alongside a Street dance school, Lucy established herself as a self-employed freelance dance teacher. She has taught from age 5 to adult, from beginners to advanced level and occasionally for children and teenagers with learning disabilities in schools, colleges and universities, to community centres, youth centres and dance studios. Lucy took a Yoga Alliance Hatha Yoga teacher training course in 2010/11 to expand what she could teach alongside dance and has taught regular yoga classes since 2011. After the initial yoga teacher training course, Lucy went on to train to teach Ashtanga Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Pregnancy Yoga and Postnatal / Mum & Baby yoga. Lucy now mostly teaches adults Dance and Yoga in Nunney and nearby villages in Somerset and online. With over 30 years experience of practicing Yoga and nearly 30 years of teaching Dance, Lucy still loves both. Contact Lucy Goldsack |
